There has been some discussion about this test on the Metal Equipment forum regarding the F75 and T2 tests.
As seen in the thread the complaint was the testers were not using the best settings for these detectors.

Hi all,
there was a reason to test the F75 without using the best settings:
1. we had no manual.
2. we want to see, if the F75 did a better job then the T2, why ??? because the Dutch importer of the T2 claimed that his detector was the best detector ever build and the deepst seeking detector ever build, before it was availeble on the Dutch market.
So with these standard settings we out performed the T2, atfer having the manual we went back to the testgarden and the F75 took all the items.
We started with the tests, so that people could get a first impression how deep some detectors will work, and we also know that having a detector for several months and to become one with your machine is always better.
But some retailers say "deepest seeking machine" and that is simply not truth, therefore i want to help espacially newcommers in our hobby so they do not need to spend a lot of money for a detector that is not doing what some retailers claim.
